Sure, some people may know Max as the son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft. Some might recognize him from acting parts on Rosanne or 7th Heaven. Still, others might recognize his voice from animated shows Batman Beyond or Justice League. To us, Max will always be known as the author of The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. To those of us who have a passion for the undead, Max is a rock star as well as a treasure trove of information on surviving the inevitable zombie uprising. Not only will Max Brooks be in Austin to introduce films and hang out for this year’s Dismember the Alamo Film Festival, he will also be giving a special lecture and book signing on Friday of the Festival.
